Two Exhibits of Interest!
This summer I was browsing thru the Call for Entry listings of upcoming
shows and exhibits nationwide. I thought, hmmm, where would I like to
visit? So I entered the 46th Annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia
Exhibition, in Evergreen Colorado.
To my delight, out of 462 entries submitted, my painting, "Someone's
Home, Once" was one of the 70 pieces selected by the juror, Sterling
Edwards.

This exhibit is at the Center for the Arts, Evergreen Colorado. The
Opening Reception is from 4-8PM September 13th, 2019. The exhibit
closes on October 26. If you happen to be in Colorado to view the
magnificent colors, do stop by. I will be at the reception on the 13th.
I'm always looking for a good excuse to visit San Diego. So I submitted
my entry to the San Diego Watercolor Society's 39th International
Exhibit. Over 600 entries from around the world were received, and my
painting "August Monsoons" was one of 95 selected by the juror, Jeannie
Mcguire.

This Exhibit opens at the San Diego Watercolor Society Gallery in
Liberty Station, San Diego, on September 29, with the First Friday
Reception, October 4th. The show closes October 30th.

Having just driven to San Diego a few days ago to deliver my painting
to the Gallery, experiencing monsoon rains from North of Tucson West to
Yuma, I can say it was an interesting drive, especially through desert
rains!
Now it's time for me to get painting in my studio, so watch for a
"rainy drive to Yuma" painting one of these days!and of course, the
monsoon skies are back...
